Her recent works are in acrylic on large and small canvases and narrate living near Port Phillip Bay and spending time on the Mornington peninsula plus her love of the garden and growing colourful displays of flowers to incorporate in stillife works.
Ann's love of nature and the outdoors, of colour and texture come together on the canvas to portray the mood with work that is built up by many layers resulting in an abstract mindscape using real or imagined scenes. Her work is very spontaneous and inspired by her feelings toward a place visited with most reference from her mind. Works are very textural and sometimes done with palette knife.
Recently Ann has set up her own studio space in Mordialloc. Le Studio, 24-26 Crown ave. Visitors welcome.
