She Sleeps In The Clouds by Anna Jahjah
ARTIST NOTES: I went to Monet's garden in Giverny. One of the trees looked like a cloud. I took a picture of it. When her grandmother's died, my friend Amelie said "she was now sleeping in the clouds." I took a picture of my grandmother and decided to add it to Monet's tree. And sent it to my friend. As a tribute to her grandmother. And mine. For when she, too, will be sleeping in the clouds.
